What is Neuro Linguistic Programming

If you’ve ever seen someone do something you wished you could do and thought “How did they do that?” then you have asked the central question of NLP.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming was developed in the 1970s at the university of California (Santa Cruz) by a group of pioneers studying psychology, linguistics and computer programming. In the early days they studied therapeutic geniuses such as Fritz Perls, Milton Erickson and Virginia Satir to find out just how exactly they created their ‘magic’. They made the amazing discovery that despite differences of technique, theory and style there is a clear and replicable structure to both successful and unsuccessful behaviour patterns . Because of this it follows that once those patterns are extracted they can be taught. If one person could do it, anyone could do it. Through NLP research we now have simple but elegant ways of using language, models and techniques that quickly and painlessly help people make great and lasting changes in their lives.

NLP clearly doesn’t just apply to therapy. It is used today in a wide range of contexts for effective communications in relationships at work and at home; for accelerated learning and healing and for success in any area you wish to apply it. Whether you want to up your handicap in golf , be the next Bill Gates or have fabulous benefits in your relationships with your children, partners or with your self find out about this amazing set of skills.
